The valve cover wiring harness on your 7.3l can fail at the connectors leading to misfiring and/or poor cold starting due to inoperable glow plugs and injectors.

Attention 1997 model owners: please check the number of electrical connectors you have per valve cover. If you have a single connector per side, this is the correct kit. If you have two, please see our 94-97 listing.
