The GM oil cooler lines are known to be a problem with frequent leaks at the crimps. Our heavy duty lines will prevent future leaks between the engine and oil cooler.

*Note: Some radiators may require M20 or M22 metric adapters. There is no way to identify if metric adapters are needed until its apart.

    Includes:
    2x Heavy Duty 5/8" Hoses
    Adapter Fittings
    Washers for Oil Cooler Fittings

Note: One fitting at the block is a very tight fit and will require preassembly of fittings, or removal of one differential bolt to install. The bolt can be reinstalled once fittings are installed into the engine block.

Fits: 2001-2006 8.1l Vortec Chevy GMC engines with Radiator Tub Oil Cooler.
    Silverado/Sierra 2500/3500 HD Trucks
    Suburban 2500/Yukon XL 2500
    Chevy Avalanche 2500
    Chevy/GMC Express/Kodiak/Topkick (w/ Radiator Tub Oil Cooler)
Chevy/GMC Motorhomes (w/ Radiator Tub Oil Cooler)

    Install Torque Procedure:
    Method one: 55-65 Ft-lbs

Method two FFWR (best method): 1.0 Flats from Wrench Resistance. Tighten the nut lightly with a wrench (approximately 30 in.lb.) This is considered the wrench resistance position. Starting from this position, tighten the nut further by the number of flats listed above. A flat is referred to as one side of the hexagonal nut and equates to 1/6 of a turn.
