Introducing an adjustable camshaft gear for 06A 1.8T that allows for fine adjustment with a range of +/- 10 degrees, providing the ability to tune the power band by retarding or advancing timing. The outer rings of the cam gear are precisely machined to OE specifications to ensure perfect fitment with the timing belt, and hard anodized to minimize wear. High-quality ARP stainless steel bolts are used to securely lock the cam gear in place. The cam gear also features etched positioning to indicate the cam's position.
Please note that the cam gear bolt must be replaced and torqued to factory spec or upgraded to an ARP bolt, and the adjustment plate bolts should be checked and torqued to 12ft/lbs. This cam gear is compatible with all Audi/VW 1.8T 20V 06A engines, with the exception of the 058 1.8T engines.
