Description

The 12-Point Cylinder Head Stud Bolts and Nuts Kit is a performance engine hardware package designed for 1997-2013 GM 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, and 6.0L LS series engines (such as LS1, LS6, LQ9). It replaces stock bolts to securely clamp cylinder heads and gaskets, providing higher tensile strength for heavy-duty or high-performance use.

Fastener Material: 8740 chromoly steel or high-ductility iron
Surface Finish: Black oxide for high-temperature and corrosion resistance.
Tensile Strength: Nominally rated between 180,000 psi and 220,000 psi
Fastener Head: 12-point design (allows for easier socket clearance and higher torque limits compared to hex heads)
