The Ford UF191 is an ignition coil-on-plug (COP) replacement part used to deliver high-voltage electrical spark to the spark plugs in specific V8 gasoline engines.

Purpose: It transforms low battery voltage into the thousands of volts needed to ignite the air-fuel mixture inside the engine cylinders.

Failure Signs: A failing UF191 coil can cause engine misfires, rough idling, hesitation during acceleration, reduced fuel economy, and trigger a check engine light with diagnostic trouble codes (like P0301–P0308).
