INTENDED FOR USE WITH VARIABLE VALVE TIMING (VVT) MODELS
This 5.7L HEMI MDS Cam and Lifter Rebuild Kit is a complete valvetrain and engine overhaul package. Designed to replace failed or worn-out components, it restores engine performance and cures common HEMI "tick" noises, specifically targeting failures in the Multiple Displacement System (MDS).
The kit serves as an all-in-one package for addressing collapsed lifters and worn camshaft lobes on VVT (Variable Valve Timing) HEMI engines.
- Engine Camshaft: OEM-style replacement (Part# 53022372AA)
- MDS Valve Lifters: 16 hydraulic lifters, which usually consist of 8 standard lifters and 8 MDS-specific lifters (Part# 53021726AD, 53021726AE
- Head Gasket Set: Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gaskets and valve cover gaskets to guarantee proper sealing
- Head Bolts Kit: Replacement cylinder head bolts and related hardware needed for proper reassembly
