Description
GM part number 12686433 is an Engine Oil Pump Assembly. It is an original equipment (OE) component used primarily in Gen V General Motors (Chevrolet and GMC) truck and SUV engines.
Engine Lubrication: Responsible for drawing oil from the oil pan and circulating it under pressure throughout the engine.
Vital Protection: Ensures the crankshaft, camshaft, and valvetrain assemblies receive the continuous lubrication needed to prevent metal-on-metal wear and catastrophic engine failure.
Variable Displacement: Features a variable flow design with an included oil pump control valve solenoid to efficiently regulate oil pressure based on engine load and RPM.
It is specifically designed as a direct factory replacement for the following Gen V V8 and V6 engines (Engine Codes: L83, L86, and LV3):
Chevrolet: Silverado 1500, Tahoe, Suburban, and Express
GMC: Sierra 1500, Yukon, Yukon XL, Savana
Cadillac: Escalade and Escalade ESV
