An oil catch can filters and traps oil vapor, moisture, and unburnt fuel from your engine's PCV system before those gasses enter the intake manifold. This prevents carbon sludge from forming on intake valves and keeps the combustion chamber clean.

How It Works

Blow-by gases form: Combustion pressure pushes tiny amounts of gas and oil past piston rings into the crankcase.

Rerouting the PCV line: Hoses send these vapors into the catch can instead of directly into the intake.

Baffling and separation: Internal baffles or filters slow the air down so oil and moisture condense and pool at the bottom.

Clean air continues: Filtered air goes on to the intake manifold. 
Why Engines Need It

Protects Direct Injection: Traditional fuel injection washes valves with fuel, but direct injection leaves valves dry and prone to sticky carbon buildup from oil mist.

Reduces Sludge: Prevents oil from mixing with carbon or EGR soot to form hard deposits.

Improves Longevity: Helps high-performance, turbo, or high-compression engines run smoothly by keeping sensors and intercoolers clean
