Ford BR3Z-6600-A is an engine oil pump assembly designed for Ford vehicles equipped with 5.0L engines.
Purpose: Circulates engine oil from the oil pan through the engine block to reduce friction and cool moving parts.
Signs of a bad pump: Low oil pressure readings on the gauge, an illuminated oil pressure warning light on your dashboard, or unusual ticking and clanking engine noises.
Replacement note: This factory replacement pump does not come with pre-installed oil pump gears, making it a common time to inspect or upgrade your oil pump gears.
