This Camshaft and Timing Chain Kit for the 2011–2015 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM 3.6L V6 Pentastar engine is a comprehensive master overhaul bundle designed to fix common valvetrain wear, ticking noises, and timing system failures.

What is Included in the Kit?

Camshafts: Includes all 4 camshafts (2 intake and 2 exhaust) for the dual overhead cam (DOHC) setup.

Valvetrain Components: 24 rocker arms (roller followers) and 24 hydraulic lash adjusters (lifters).

Timing Chain Components: Primary (lower) chain, secondary (upper) cam chains, and an oil pump chain.

Gears & Sprockets: Crankshaft sprocket, idler sprockets, and oil pump sprockets.

Tensioners & Guides: Primary and secondary hydraulic tensioners along with fixed and tensioner guide rails.

Gaskets & Seals: Valve cover gaskets and related front-end seals
Common Applications & Purpose

Fixes the "Pentastar Tick": Early 3.6L engines (2011–2015) are notorious for needle-roller bearing failure in the rocker arms, which scores the camshaft lobes and creates a distinct ticking noise. Replacing the cams and lifters together resolves this.

Timing Overhaul: Worn timing chains stretch over time, causing rattles on cold startups or triggering check engine codes (like camshaft/crankshaft correlation faults such as P0017). Doing both jobs at once saves extensive labor overlap since the front timing cover and valve covers must be removed for either repair
