INTENDED FOR USE WITH VARIABLE VALVE TIMING (VVT) MODELS
This 5.7L HEMI MDS Cam and Lifter Rebuild Kit is a complete valvetrain and engine overhaul package. Designed to replace failed or worn-out components, it restores engine performance and cures common HEMI "tick" noises, specifically targeting failures in the Multiple Displacement System (MDS).
The kit serves as an all-in-one package for addressing collapsed lifters and worn camshaft lobes on VVT (Variable Valve Timing) HEMI engines.
- Camshaft (Part #53022263AF): The core of the rebuild; engineered specifically to interact seamlessly with MDS lifters.
- MDS & Non-MDS Lifters: Includes 16 valve lifters (8 MDS and 8 non-MDS) required to shut down specific cylinders for improved fuel economy.
- Gasket & Bolt Sets: Full cylinder head gasket set, valve cover gaskets, and necessary replacement bolts (often including head bolts).
- Oil & Water Pumps: Replaces vital engine fluids and pressure systems to ensure proper lubrication to the newly installed camshaft.
- Timing Chain Set: Timing chain, guides, and sprockets to restore correct engine timing
