This is an engine timing and variable valve timing (VVT) component assembly designed for 1.8L and 2.0L turbocharged (TSI / TFSI, EA888) engines found in Volkswagen and Audi vehicles.

What is Included in the Kit?

Camshaft Bridge Bracket / Cam Bearing Mount (Replaces OE parts like 06H103144J / 06H103144K / 06J103166A): This aluminum or steel bracket holds the camshaft journals in place on the cylinder head and routes oil pressure to the variable valve timing system. 

Camshaft Adjuster Magnet (Replaces OE 06H109257C / 06H109257A): An electromagnetic actuator that controls the phase of the camshaft. 

Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Oil Control / Solenoid Valve (Replaces OE 06L109259A): Regulates the flow of engine oil under command of the engine computer to advance or retard valve timing. 
Common Symptoms of Failure

Check Engine Light (often related to camshaft timing correlation or VVT circuit codes like P0016 / P0011).

Rough idling, engine rattling on startup (often linked to failing check valves or clogged internal mesh screens in the bridge bracket), or reduced power.

Oil leaks around the upper timing cover or magnet electrical connector.
