    SHIPPING DETAILS

    Shipping costs for sending an ECU to Fabspeed is the responsibility of the purchaser.  The ECU will be tuned within 24-48 hours of receiving it and Fabspeed will then ship back the ECU using whatever method it was shipped in with.  (For example: If you send in your ECU via Ground shipping, we will ship it back via Ground.  If you ship it via Overnight, we will ship it back via Overnight.)

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Achieve maximum power from the Audi R8 GT 5.2L V10 without sacrificing driveability or reliability by optimizing the engine's performance. Fabspeed Motorsport offers an alternative tuning method for vehicles equipped with ECU's that traditionally required bench flashing. No longer do you need to remove your ECU and mail it in for a tune. The Handheld device interfaces with the OBD-II port on your vehicle and your computer to complete the tuning process. Simply flash your R8 with a Fabspeed ECU Tune utilizing the included handheld tuner. Performance ECU software upgrade improves horsepower, torque, and driving characteristics by reprogramming various sensor inputs, air/fuel ratios, and boost pressure (if applicable).

    • This tune is for 2010 - 2013 Audi R8 GT 5.2L V10 models only

    POWER GAINS

    • You can wake up your stock R8 GT with this tune alone or pair it with our Valvetronic Exhaust System for maximum performance gains. In stock form, this tune adds 25 whp and 24 ft/lbs of torque at 5500 RPM. When added to Fabspeed's Valvetronic Exhaust, this tune will provide maximum gains of over 53 whp and 51 ft/lbs of torque at 5500 RPM!

    TUNING PROCESS

    1. Read stock data on vehicle via OBD-II port with Handheld

    2. Interface Handheld with software on your computer and send in data to Fabspeed Motorsport via email to tuning@fabspeed.com 

    3. We use this data along with information you provide about your vehicle to write a tune for your specific setup and email back your custom tune in 1-2 business days

    4. Write the Fabspeed ECU Tune to your Handheld, then to the vehicle with the Handheld

    5. Enjoy your increased performance!

    No need to send your ECU in to return to stock - simply use the Handheld to flash back, then to your Fabspeed ExperTune again at any point! 

    NOTES

    • Please review our Tuning Guide in the instructions above and email the ECU Tuning Information form to us. We utilize this form to ensure we meet your needs and consider your modifications to deliver the best possible results.

    • While a vehicle equipped with bolt-on upgrades will experience maximum gains as a result of the increased efficiency of the engine, great power gains can be made on a completely stock vehicle!  

    • This is not a physical/shipped product.  This upgrade requires you to send us your ECU for re-programming. You will be emailed a download link with detailed instructions after adding this to your cart and checking out.

    • You must fill out and include a copy of the ECU Information form along with your ECU upon sending it in. Please contact us if you need to send the form in any other manner.

    • Fabspeed Motorsport saves your stock/factory ECU settings so that you can revert your vehicle back to stock settings at any time for a small fee.
