The AWE Performance Exhaust Suite for the Porsche 991.2 Turbo and Turbo S 

Producing an exhaust system that is both aggressive at full throttle yet civil enough for Bluetooth calls is no small endeavor. Using the AWE 200 Cell HJS HD high-flow catalysts, AWE sound engineers carefully studied the tones of the multiple prototype 991TT systems at various RPMs, and meticulously engineered a bespoke 991TT solution (as opposed to a repurposed 997.2TT system) to combat frequencies that are not appropriate for a supercar of this caliber – retaining and building upon only the perfect notes. All while producing an impressive 29+ horsepower at the crank along with the AWE No CEL Guarantee.

Using 3.0" diameter T304 stainless steel tubing and an H-pipe design, the AWE muffler section routes exhaust gases through two proprietary and handcrafted mufflers to create the AWE signature sound.

This system is available with the following tip configurations:

The AWE No CEL (Check Engine Light) Guarantee is noted on certain AWE products, and offers peace of mind against the appearance of Check Engine Lights when products are installed properly and used as intended, on vehicles with no additional modifications, with the exception of other AWE products intended to work with the product in question.

HJS Warranty for AWE USA

The warranty on HJS universal tuning catalytic converters as used in AWE products is one year from proof-of-purchase from a retailer of AWE products. 

The consumer understands that the catalyst used on this product is a sophisticated third-party product, and as such, all final decisions related to warranties are at the sole discretion of HJS.

HJS certifies that the applications listed in Appendix A are within the applicable range as referenced in HJS warranty guidelines, section 5.2 (see appendix B), and that ECE R103 approval has no bearing on this warranty.

This warranty is against manufacturer (HJS) defect on metal supports and catalyst coatings, and guarantees Check Engine Light Free operation during the warranty period. However, the guarantee is only granted for uses approved by HJS as listed in Appendix A. 

Reasons for failure not covered include, but are not limited to contamination, carbon deposits, road damage, modifications to assembly, and physical signs of overheating.

Furthermore, HJS accepts no liability for catalytic converters that have been damaged for one of the reasons listed under 4,  Reasons for at problems (Appendix C).

In vehicles with increased performance by other tuning parts exclusive of AWE brand products or as specified on AWE-Tuning.com, compliance with the exhaust emission standard and a faultless OBD diagnosis cannot be guaranteed.

AWE, on behalf of HJS, reserves the right to inspect all elements of the vehicle in any way required, including sending products to HJS in Germany, to verify compliance with the guidelines of this warranty. AWE or HJS may opt to refund, repair, replace, consult to remedy or deny claims at its sole discretion. Timeline for warranty claims can not be estimated. 

HJS can only guarantee that the complaint will be honoured if all documents (see 5.3 warranty handling) are available.

If all needed documents are available and the claim is accepted, HJS will replace the catalytic converter free of charge. 

HJS will guarantee OBD and EU Norm for catalytic converter only for horsepower / EU Norm which is listed in appendix.  

This warranty is void if there are compressor modifications.

HJS will only replace matrix free of charge. Other costs are not included.
