ATI Performance Products, Inc. is proud to introduce its renowned Super Damper for the DaimlerChrysler HEMI 5.7, 6.1, and the new 392 crate engines for both street and race applications. Unlike factory pulleys, which offer no protection to high performance engines, the ATI Super Damper provides balanced dampening of torsional crankshaft vibrations at all RPM. The damper comes with 360° laser-etched timing marks in six different sizes to accommodate any application. All ATI Super Dampers exceed SFI 18.1 Safety Certification and are approved for competition use.
Unlike unbalanced underdrive pulleys, which offer no protection to high performance engines, the tunable ATI Super Damper provides balanced dampening of torsional crankshaft vibrations. Extensive dyno and on track testing by ATI has proven the Super Damper far superior to all other damper designs and assures efficiency over stock dampers, resulting in added power and response. Inner and outer shells are available in aluminum or steel, and contain a steel inertia weight. This inertia weight has six (2-ring design) or eight (3-ring design) computer machined grooves to retain the proper durometer O-rings (dyno tested for each application).

Specs:
ATI’s Crank Pin Drill Fixture Kit for the LS1, 2, 3, 6 and 7 along with Hemi Super Dampers allows you to install 1 or 2 dowel pins to the LS or Hemi crank, eliminating the damper twist on the shaft. In most applications, the crank may be drilled and the pin installed with the engine in the vehicle. This is a must for engines used in circle track racing or supercharging!
