PROFILE
The factory AMG GT downpipes are highly restrictive, designed primarily for economy and noise reduction rather than performance. As power levels increase, these restrictions lead to excessive backpressure, higher exhaust gas temperatures, and reduced turbo efficiency.
The ARM AMG GT C190 3.5" Downpipes are engineered to remove these limitations and unlock the true performance potential of the M178 twin-turbo V8. By dramatically improving exhaust flow directly after the turbochargers, these downpipes deliver faster spool, sharper throttle response, and substantial horsepower and torque gains when paired with tuning.
Designed as one of the best power-per-dollar upgrades for the AMG GT, GTS, GTC, and GTR, the ARM C190 AMG GT Downpipes support aggressive street driving, track use, and high-performance builds while maintaining precise OEM-level fitment.
CONSTRUCTION
The ARM AMG GT Downpipes are constructed of SS304 stainless steel to ensure strength and weld integrity for the life of your C190 AMG GT, backed by our ARM Lifetime Warranty. The ARM AMG GT Downpipes start at the turbochargers with a 3.5" V-Band flange. This style flange allows the ARM AMG GT Downpipes to connect to the OEM turbos, or any upgraded turbos that are compatible with the OEM AMG GT downpipes.
The ARM AMG GT Downpipes incorporate two 200 cell race catalysts to reduce emissions and fumes on your M178 equipped AMG GT, while giving it a free flowing and aggressive exhaust note. The ARM AMG GT Downpipes transition to a 3" diameter to allow clearance through the tunnels down to the lower 3.5" sections of the ARM AMG GT Downpipes.
The upper sections of the ARM AMG GT Downpipes incorporate a cross-brace design which links both downpipes together increasing rigidity and reducing movement under load for improved stability and long-term durability. Both downpipes feature integrated pre- and post-catalyst O2 sensor bungs, ensuring compatibility with factory oxygen sensors and maintaining proper exhaust gas monitoring.
The ARM AMG GT Downpipes utilize a CNC machined ball-and-socket exhaust connection allowing angular movement and secure sealing between the upper and lower sections of the downpipes. The lower 3.5" sections improve the tone of the M178 exhaust note further, giving your C190 AMG GT the sound it deserves.
The ARM AMG GT Downpipes utilize OEM-style midpipe connections in order to connect with the factory catback section, or any aftermarket exhaust that mates up to the OEM downpipes. One adapter has a ball-and-socket connection and the other is a standard slip-fit connection, just like OEM.
