The APR Charge Pipes and Charge Hoses System is a comprehensive upgrade for the 2.0T EA888 Gen 4 engine that addresses each component between the turbocharger and intercooler, and from intercooler to throttle body. The system increases air flow through smooth an uninterrupted airflow paths, and provides increased performance and reliability by upgraded each of the factory components. This kit is comprised of five kits otherwise sold on their own.

2.0T EA888.4 CHARGE SYSTEM OVERVIEW

TURBO OUTLET HOSE

The APR Turbo Outlet Hose replaces the factory rubber hose and worm-gear clamps with a high quality multi-ply silicone hose and strong Clampco T-bolt clamps. The interior of the hose is smooth and lined with a fluorosilicone material designed to resist oil degradation and extend component life. EZ-Flow stepped lips within the hose allows for a smooth connection from hose to pipe for uninterrupted airflow. We pay close attention to the airflow path and provide as few bends and tight radius turns as possible. Furthermore the hose material adheres to its mating surface under high temperature to help create a stronger leak and slip free connection. This all results in a more reliable setup and increased performance through a smooth and strong uninterrupted airflow path. This hose is compatible with both OEM and upgraded APR charge pipes.

TURBO OUTLET PIPE

The APR Turbo Outlet Pipe replaces the factory plastic pipe with a high quality aluminum pipe that's a constant diameter within. We pay close attention to the airflow path and provide as few bends and tight radius turns as possible to maximize performance. Unlike the factory plastic pipes, ours won't melt and crack under extreme conditions. This piece additionally deletes the turbo muffler, which is integrated into the pipe on the Golf R/S3 and similar platform vehicles. The pipe features bead rolled connection points to help resist hose slippage, and all mounting brackets are tig-welded to the pipe for a strong connection. Finally, the pipe is finished in an attractive satin-black finish. This all results in a more reliable setup and increased performance through a smooth and strong uninterrupted airflow path. These hoses are compatible with both OEM and upgraded APR charge hoses.

INTERCOOLER HOSES

APR Intercooler Hoses replaces the factory rubber hoses and worm-gear clamps with a high quality multi-ply silicone hoses and strong Clampco T-bolt clamps. Furthermore the hose material adheres to its mating surface under high temperature to help create a stronger leak and slip free connection. THROTTLE BODY PIPE

The APR Throttle Body Pipe replaces the factory plastic pipe with a high quality aluminum pipe that’s a constant diameter within. We pay close attention to the airflow path and provide as few bends and tight radius turns as possible to maximize performance. Unlike the factory plastic pipes, ours won’t melt and crack under extreme conditions, and ours don’t contain a failure-prone and resistive internal piece like the factory pipe. The pipe features an additional port which can be used for an additional sensor, water/methanol injection, or however you see fit, and includes an NPT tap to block it off when not in use. The pipe features bead rolled connection points to help resist hose slippage, and all mounting brackets and billet sensor and DV recirculation ports are tig-welded to the pipe for a strong connection. Finally, the pipe is finished in an attractive satin-black finish. This all results in a more reliable setup and increased performance through a smooth and strong uninterrupted airflow path. This pipe is compatible with both OEM and upgraded APR charge hoses.
