The 0FG is a dual 3” T304L stainless steel catback configuration featuring a bespoke H-pipe and AWE’s patented drone-canceling 180 Technology®. American-sourced T304L stainless steel with a wall thickness of .065” runs smoothly from front to back, connecting right after the factory emissions equipment. An H-pipe tailored specifically for the 6.2L is met shortly after to provide an aggressive and rich muscle tone with minimal rasp before filtering through the 180 Technology® resonators to destroy drone-prone frequencies while maintaining optimal performance.

Keeping the aggression at the rear of the Silverado/Sierra, and out of the cabin, is AWE’s patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®. 

As exhaust gases exit the 6.2L engine and flow into an AWE 180 Technology® equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers. Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers.

By controlling the size and location of the ports and the chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves rejoin the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies. 

BashGuard™:

The 0FG modularity shines at the final breakpoint in the exhaust route. Not only does the 0FG have the ability to accommodate quad tips, but it also accommodates AWE’s BashGuard™. What’s BashGuard? Thanks for asking. The AWE BashGuard™ is appropriately equipped with a .125” thick reinforced stainless ring of the exhaust outlet, tucked up high out of the way of danger. 

Tip Options:

• Quad tips: Quad 4” double-walled, slash-cut tips, offered in chrome silver or diamond black which exit under the rear bumper.
• BashGuard™: For driver’s who prefer the function over form, AWE offers the 0FG with dual BashGuard™ for high clearance, max rigidity, and stealthy appearance.

Conversion Kits:

AWE made it easy to swap the rear portions of the 0FG, and offers conversion kits to transform quad-tip exhausts into BashGuard™, and vice versa. BashGuards are available seperately.

The AWE No CEL (Check Engine Light) Guarantee is noted on certain AWE products, and offers peace of mind against the appearance of Check Engine Lights when products are installed properly and used as intended, on vehicles with no additional modifications, with the exception of other AWE products intended to work with the product in question.

What is 180 Technology®?

AWE's patented 180 Technology® works a little something like this: As exhaust gases exit the engine and flow into an AWE 180 Technology®-equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers.
