Kingman Speed® Universal 2-Step Launch Control Ignition Rev Limiter Kit (Improves Throttle Response)

An automotive ignition launch control module manages a vehicle's engine RPM and torque output at a standing start. It enables drivers to achieve the fastest and most consistent take-offs possible by preventing excessive wheel spin, controlling power, and building turbo boost before the vehicle even moves.

Secondary Rev Limiter: Also known as a "two-step" limiter, it creates a lower RPM cap specifically for the starting line. It holds the engine at a specific, ideal RPM while you hold the throttle wide open.

Spark and Fuel Cuts: The module precisely controls ignition events, cutting the spark or fuel in specific cylinders to prevent the engine from revving past the launch limit. 

Building Boost (Anti-lag): On turbocharged vehicles, the module can temporarily retard ignition timing. This forces the combustion process to happen late (while the exhaust valves are open), which dumps raw energy into the exhaust to spool up the turbocharger. This allows the car to launch with immediate, maximum power. 

Traction Optimization: Advanced modules can monitor wheel speeds to adjust engine power on the fly, ensuring maximum grip as the vehicle accelerates.
