Our system incorporates the stock surge tank, eliminating these issues. A common myth that’s worth addressing here is that the stock surge tank (fuel basket) can’t keep up with dual pumps. Simply not true…the tank (basket) is filled using a jet pump that is driven by the electric pumps; it fills in direct proportion to the fuel mass being driven into the primary fuel system.
