    JLT PERFORMANCE ENGINE
    OIL SEPARATORS

    Crankcase Pressure

During the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake track, large amounts of oil in the form of vapors can coat your blower rotors, intake valves, intercooler fins and even dilute your gas lowering its octane level. This happens on all engines and is even worse when supercharged as crankcase pressures are increased.

    The Solution

To combat this, we have developed an oil separator of our own design that filters / separates the oil in the vapor and deposits it into the catch can instead of circulating through your engines intake system.

    FILTERS OUT OIL WITH A
    STAINLESS FINE MESH FILTER

Filtering consists of a fine mesh stainless steel screen that traps fine oil vapors and releases them once heavy enough to fall. They then pass through a 1/2" thick 1/16th" aluminum honeycomb filter where they grow every larger and then fall into the bottom. By the time the oil gets through the filter it's too heavy to be passed on into the intake.

The tank holds 3 oz of fluid, while that may not sound like a lot, you shouldn’t see that much oil in your PCV system. Drain it every 2000-25000 miles on most applications and you will never come close to filling it.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED AN
    OIL SEPARATOR

    How to Check

To determine if your vehicle needs an Oil Separator, where the PCV Valve connects to your intake manifold, remove the line and inspect it.. If you see ANY oil residue in these areas, your vehicle would benefit from an oil separator.

If these areas are completely dry and no oil residue is present, you DON’T need and Oil Separator. It is that simple.

    AVAILABLE FOR THE MOST
    POPULAR VEHICLES

Our JLT Oil Separator is designed to work on any engine, but we have made it easy for many of the popular Ford, Mopar and GM vehicles.  Offered as a plug and play set up for many applications with factory PCV hard lines already attached. Simply unplug your stock line and attach the new set up, easy as that.

When you’re ready to empty the tank, just undo the clips on the factory lines and remove the entire line, unscrew the tank, empty and reinstall. This will take less than 1 minute to complete, too easy!!

    How does it work?

During the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake track, large amounts of oil, in the form of vapors, intake tube, intake manifold runners and even dilute your gas, lowering its octane level. This happens on all engines and is even worse with forced inducted vehicles (supercharged and turbocharged) as crankcase pressures are increased. To combat this, we have developed an oil separator of our own design. Milled from solid billet aluminum this is a rock-solid piece. It has a knurled tank base for easy removal to drain the spent oil and an O-ring seal to prevent any leaks.
